DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS ON A92 BY WESTER KINNEAR IN NORTH EAST FIFE BEGIN MONDAY 23RD SEPTEMBER
Amey is undertaking drainage improvements on the A92 by Wester Kinnear Farm, North of Kilmany from Monday 23rd September to Friday 18th October.
The £205,000 worth of improvements, which Amey is carrying out on behalf of Transport Scotland, involves installation of new filter drains and headwalls.
The essential works will reduce flooding and improve overall safety for over 7,500 daily traffic users.
Work will take place weekdays from 8am to 6pm.
To ensure the safety of roadworkers and motorists, the essential maintenance will be undertaken under daytime lane closures with 24/7 temporary traffic lights starting at Logie Junction and ending at the eastbound layby.
Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.
