Your right to request information

Any Freedom of Information request that you wish to submit in relation to the Scottish Trunk Road Network Maintenance Contract (NMC) - North East Unit should be made via Transport Scotland.

In line with the Freedom of Information (Scotland ) Act 2002, public authorities in Scotland must provide recorded information they hold to a requester unless the requested information is covered by a freedom of information exemption. 

Anyone can request information – there are no restrictions on your age, nationality or where you live.

In processing your request, Transport Scotland will be complying with a statutory Freedom of Information obligation. In order to do so, they will need your full name and a contact address (postal or email address).
