Amey host Careers Day for ASN pupils

Amey visit Angus school specialising in pupils with Additional Support Needs

Amey attended Panbride school in Carnoustie, which offers Extended Support for Pupils, to deliver a careers morning for pupils with Additional Support Needs (ASN).

Community and Communications Manager Jessica Masterton hosted the event as pupils took turns visiting a variety of stalls as part of a carousel speed event, with a list of questions to ask at each.

ASN teacher Rozie Arnott said: “The young people certainly appreciated Amey’s attendance as did I, and all staff within Panbride. We all feel it is extremely important to ensure our young people have every opportunity to explore their options for their future beyond school.”

Amey is currently developing relationships with secondary schools across the north east, with partnerships planned with Baldragon Secondary School in Dundee and Perth High School.
