ABERDOUR PRIMARY PUPILS GET BEHIND THE WHEEL AS GRITTER VISITS SCHOOL

Amey's road safety heroes enjoyed a visit to Aberdour Primary School to chat to pupils about keeping themselves and others safe when traveling on or near roads.

Gritter driver John Crowe was on hand to help the pupils have a seat inside one of our gritters, operate the plough and have a toot of the horn.

Each class enjoyed a 10-minute road safety presentation around road safety heroes, who they are and what they do on an everyday basis in and around their school, family and local community.

Amey visits schools across the N/E trunk road network to talk to young people about the need to take care on the roads and highlight the important jobs our staff, such as John, do to help everyone stay safe.
